Platonic friends

Can a guy and girl remain as platonic friends? 

Some would say yes and some would say no. 

But here's just my 2cent worth of thoughts. I believe if both parties agree, then it can happen. 

I'm lucky to have found a bestfriend who has been there for me the past few years, we both have our own life and partners. 

And I'm glad that both our partners are really understanding that we have a bestfriend of the opposite gender. 

Over the years, I'm sure we lost some friends along the way, but I'm just glad I finally realize who actually matters to me. 

Friends who don't give me the vibe where everything feels awkward, it's like strangers all over again after not talking for weeks or months. 

Friends who treasure you for who you are, and fight for you. You don't let someone go if they mean something to you don't you? Even if it's not your personality or character, at least try once before giving up. 

Friends who cares for you. And I mean genuinely concern instead of poking their nose into your life just so they could spread rumors or gossip. 

Friends who are constantly there for you, during your good times and bad times. They share your joy and sorrow. 

One example would be my bestfriend, we don't talk often. It's pretty rare nowadays when both of us are busy with school/army/families and of course our partners, but after all this while, we still make it a point to meet one another once in a while to catch up on our lives. And it doesn't feel as though were strangers. It feels as though we have been constantly talking to one another. 

I'm glad that my bf acknowledge that I have a bestfriend of the opposite gender. And he's cool with it. It's the mutual trust that we both have in one another that allows this to happen. (: 

I believe platonic friends can work out even if you have a partner as long as they trust and understand you. 

In order to remain platonic, both would have to know that this friendship is friendzone. You can always be there for them, but only as a good friend and nothing more! (:

So here are some random facts about me: 

#1 I can't skate/rollerblade

#2 I call mix blood people mix breed (no offense to any of you out there)

#3 I have many weird dreams when I sleep

#4 I'm one of the rare females out there for choose engineering as a profession 

#5 I learnt dance for 10 years

#6 I hate mascots

#7 I do not like receiving a bouquet of flowers 

#8 railroad-trail is usually my username for almost every account I have other than my biological name 

I love train tracks that's how railroad came about, and trail, in life there's so many trials we been through, it all leaves a trail to our story.

#9 my Chinese name is not written on my   Identity Card, so my full name is Chu Cheryl

#10 my favourite animal is a panda, to me a panda is multiracial because it's Black, it's White and it's Asian! (:

#11 I love English bulldogs, chowchow and golden retrievers

#12 I love seafood, Japanese and local food!

#14 I'm a planner. I hate last min decision

#15 cartoon is never my cup of tea

#16 I hate sitting aeroplane although I love going for holidays

Yay! Since I'm finally done with my assignments, I decided to edit part of my blog template! I'm pretty satisfied at this stage, but there's definitely room for improvement! :D

I miss dance big time as I was looking through tumblr, part of me is driven to be flexible again too!

Assignments, there's one crazy assignment I've got to do, but procrastination is just killing me. I'm doing everything but my assignment! Hahaha! 

Teach me how will I complete my 1000 word assignment. 1000 words is no biggie, but its crazy as hell boring!

My poor blog need to be revamp real soon, after I'm done with my assignments, this blog would be a place for me to journal down my life, a place I can look back to and remember the good and bad times in life.
