"When I was 6 years old, Istood atop the neighbourhood pool's 12 foot high dive while my parents tried to coaz me to take the plunge. I was afraid of heights, and they wanted me to face my fears. So they had encouraged me to climb up and give it a try. However, I stood atop the small tower for 10 minutes, pretesting that I simply couldn't. The Moment didn't require anything facny, no triple-flips or cockscrew twists. I really didn't even have to jump. All I needed to do was step to the edge and lean the tiniest bit. Gravity would have taken care of the rest."
Many of times I find people avoid their phobia. Its natural. I too avoided my phobias in the past. But I'm glad to say, I walked out of the darkest hour, and took the leap of faith which I never imagine I would have gotten over.
Today, I started my new hobby! Can't wait to send them all out tomorrow! Its like a surprise I find! (: Today is a happy day. For me I find. Manage to catch up with my mother, and nothing beats talking to her and sharing my nonsense. At the end of the day, its just laughter and sensible words from the experience woman in my life! (:
